Inktober

With October officially beginning, we wanted to announce our Inktober prompts for this spooky season. For those who don’t know, Inktober is where for every day in October artists will do a (usually black and white) drawing based off the prompt for the given day. And you have full freedom as to how you interpret the prompt which is the fun part!

This will be fun way for us to all keep our drawing hands moving and allow us to show off some great artwork. When you complete a work feel free to DM our Instagram and we will try to post some of the works we receive on our story throughout each week.

Online Collaborative Art Game

Exhibit Purdue hosted an online collaborative art game for all its members to create collaborative digital artworks. To stimulate artistic creativity during the COVID-19 pandemic, the vent was organised on Zoom Call. The members created collaborative artworks using the art game: aggie.io. The results were extremely creative and beautiful, and offered a unique twist to a classical painting. See the snippets below!

Mocha & Masks

We had a super successful event: Masks and Mocha on 17 September 2020. The event involved participants painting masks. It was in held in open spaces to ensure sufficient social distancing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The supplies and the refreshments were provided by the team of Exhibit Purdue. We saw a huge turnout. The participants found it as a good ice breaking activity where they could interact with like-minded people, taking all the necessary precautions. Professor Heather Vickers also joined to motivate the team of Exhibit Purdue and the participants.

Check out some fun photos from our event!
